<p>Said process is suitable for disinfecting objects in a tightly sealable space or for disinfecting the tightly sealable space itself with at least one UV-emitter (62) and one catalyst arrangement (60, 74, 76), which can be switched on and off, for decomposing the ozone produced by the UV-emitter (62, 84). To improve the sterilizing effect, the pressure in the space is decreased and again increased once or several times while the objects or the space are being treated with ozone. This accelerates and intensifies gas substitution in the pores and inner cavities of the objects to be disinfected. The UV-radiation and the ozone can be generated by a mobile unit containing several UV-emitter tubes (62), a tubular catalyst arrangement (60, 74, 76) as well as protective rods (66, 84), said elements of the mobile unit extending between two supports (64). Preferably, the fan (60) of the catalyst arrangement is arranged in the tube (74) of the tubular catalyst.</p> |
