<p>The invention concerns a procedure and apparatus for removing a fraction from a condenser. In the procedure, gas is conducted to a cooler (2), the gas mixture (4) is cooled in order to separate and/or liquefy the constituents of the gas mixture, the liquid mixture (5) thus obtained is collected in a liquid tank (6) and the non-liquefied gas (7), if any, is removed. As taught by the invention, the desired fraction of the liquid mixture (5) collected in the liquid tank (6) is removed from the tank through a removal pipe (9) by adjusting the draining aperture (23) of said pipe to be located in the tank on a height consistent with the desired fraction. The apparatus of the invention is provided in conjunction with a vacuum pump, e.g. a liquid ring vacuum pump (3), connected to the process equipment and said apparatus comprises a cooler (2) arranged to cool the gas mixture (4) conducted from the process in order to separate and/or liquefy the constituents of the mixture; and a liquid tank (6) in which the liquid mixture (5) thus obtained is collected for being conducted to join the process circulation and/or to be removed. As taught by the invention, the apparatus comprises a removal pipe (9) extending into the interior of the liquid tank (6), the draining aperture (23) of said removal pipe in the tank being adjustable to be located on a height consistent with the desired fraction so that the desired fraction can be removed from the tank with the aid of said removal pipe.</p> |
