<p>In a multipurpose hot-water system with heat recovery, in particular for car wash bays, the surface heating located in the wash bay is switched over by a timed electrohydraulic control so that the wash bay (9) becomes a large-surface heat exchanger in the primary circuit of a heat pump system (1). The heat energy in the hot detergents can thereby be recovered and transmitted to the storage boiler (2). The boiler output can be halved by performing the washing and heating operations at different times. This halving of the boiler output, together with the heat recovery using the system components required for operating the system, results in appreciable energy savings, and minimal production of noxious substances, for low investment costs.</p> |
