PURPOSE:To enable efficient and rapid drying of a film with the compact device by blowing wind parallel with the surface of the film after developing and washing processing. CONSTITUTION:This device has an axial flow blower 107 having an axial flow fan 101 for blasting air at the time of drying the film 20 carried after the developing and washing processing by the blast and a buffer chamber 106 which is provided in front of the blower 107 and in which the wind is temporarily stored. Further, the device has a supply opening 103 which is communicated with the buffer chamber 106, is extended along the side end of the film 20 in the carrying direction thereof and blows out the nearly parallel wind to the film surface. The wind from the blower 107 is, therefore, temporarily stored in the buffer chamber 106 and is then blown out in the specified direction from the opening 103. The film is thereby efficiently dried with the compact device. |
