PURPOSE:To improve overall electrophotographic characteristics by using a specified electrically conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:When at least an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transferring layer are formed on an Al substrate to obtain a photosensitive body, a film contg. an org. pigment dispersed in resin is used as the electric charge generating layer and an alumite layer subjected to pore sealing treatment by a nickel acetate process is formed on the Al substrate. The amt. of Ni in the alumite layer is 0.1-4.0wt.% of the total amt. of the metals in the layer. Charge injection preventing property is improved, residual potential is lowered and the occurrence of black spots on white paper at the time of reversal development is suppressed. The appliability of a coating liq. contg. a dispersed pigment for the electric charge generating layer is improved and overall electrophotographic characteristics can be improved. |
