<p>PURPOSE:To measure the position of a target readily and accurately, by performing second differentiation of the demodulated received signal of a reflected echo, and visually displaying the echo image corresponding to the secondary differentiated demodulated signal on a display device. CONSTITUTION:A transmitting circuit 11 generates and amplifies required radar pulses in synchronization with the oscillation of trigger pulses in a trigger circuit 10. A radiowave is transmitted into the underground part through a transmitting antenna 12. When there is a buried material in the ground, the transmitted radiowave is reflected from the target. The echo is received in a receiving circuit 14 through an antenna 13. The received signal is amplified in an Rf amplifier 15. Thereafter, the signal is converted into a specified low frequency signal through an Rf/Lf converter circuit 20. The converted received signal undergoes second differentiation in a second differentiating circuit 30. The output of the circuit 30 is converted into a digital signal. The signal is inputted into a memory-writing control circuit 70 for display. The circuit controls writing into a display circuit 71 for the received signal data based on the signals from a vertical-synchronization-signal generating circuit 40 and a horizontal-synchronization-signal generating circuit 60.</p> |
