<p>PURPOSE:To enable correction of a hot-wire output, by providing a thermosensitive resistor independent of a hot wire to input an air temperature into a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A thermosensitive resistor 12 independent of a hot wire 6 is provided and inputs an air temperature into a microcomputer 8 to correct a hot-wire output. The hot wire 6 repeats a heating and non-heating operations intermittently synchronizing an intake process of each cylinder of an internal combustion engine. Following the start of the heating operation, the heating is halted after the temperature of the hot wire reaches a specified temperature Ts and a time length of the heating is produced as output. In addition, the temperature Ts is varied with an intake temperature to accomplish a temperature compensation. Then, when the intake temperature is high, the temperature Ts is made larger while when the intake temperature is low, the temperature Ts is made smaller. Thus, a heating temperature will not be affected by the intake temperature. This also enables compensation of the temperature Ts by changing the temperature linearly to the intake temperature.</p> |
