摘要 |
PURPOSE: To decrease the number of rejective products by adding glass particles to an intermediate layer in addition to a conductive metal oxide and preventing diffusion of silver into the inner electrode by employing a heterogeneous intermediate layer of 1μm thick. CONSTITUTION: The multilayer ceramic capacitor comprises alternating layers of a dielectric oxide based ceramic material 1 and an electrode material 2. Metal end contacts 4 coming into conductive contact with the part of layer of material 2 through an intermediate layer 3 of a conductive metal oxide contain silver. The intermediate layer 3 is added with glass particles in addition to the conductive metal oxide and the intermediate layer 3 is a heterogeneous intermediate layer of at least 1μm thick. The glass particles comprises a glass composition having a lead oxide. According to the structure, diffusion of silver into an inner electrode, i.e., the material 2, is prevented effectively and the number of rejective products is decreased. |
