<p>NEW MATERIAL:The alkali cellulase having the following physical and chemical properties. Action, exhibiting CX enzymatic activity against CMC and weak C1 enzymatic activity and beta-glucosidase activity; substrate specificity, active to CMC, cellulose cotton, avicel, filter paper, cellobiose and p-nitrophenyl- cellobioside; active pH, 4-12; optimum pH, 9-10; stable pH (at 40 deg.C), 4.5-10.5 (10min) and 6.8-10 (30min); active temperature range, 10-65 deg.C; optimum temperature, 40 deg.C; influence of chelating agent, enzymatic activity is not inhibited by EDTA, EGTA, NTA, STPP and zeolite; influence of surfactant, little inhibition of activity; influence of protease, exhibiting strong resistance; etc. USE:Enzyme to be added to a detergent for clothes, etc. PREPARATION:The objective enzyme can be produced by culturing a microbial strain such as Bacillus sp. KSM-635(FERM BP-1485).</p> |
