PURPOSE:To improve a cleaning coefficient for an odor component in combustion exhaust gas, by a method wherein during an ignition mode, a blower for convection is run after lapse of a specified time, during an extinguishing mode, running of a blower for convection is restarted for a specified time. CONSTITUTION:A blower 1 for convection is mounted to the back of a hot air heating device, and a control circuit 7 controls the blower 1 for convection, an electromagnetic pump 3 and an igniter 4. Combustion exhaust gas is raised in a combustion cylinder 5. During heat exchange effected during the passage of it through a catalyst oxidation 6 and the starting of the blower 1 for convection, the combustion exhaust gas is discharged in a room after the passage of it through the back of the hot air heating device. During an extinguishing mode, with the decrease in the number of revolutions of the blower 1 for convection, the combustion exhaust gas is discharged in a room from the back of the hot air heating device. In this case, since a catalyst oxidation 6 is in a sufficient active state, an amount of an odor component generated due to incomplete combustion during the stop of an electromagnetic pump 3 can be reduced sharply. |
