PURPOSE:To obtain a secondary battery with high energy density and charging/ discharging efficiency by employing polyaniline compound to a positive plate and a compound with specified composition to a negative plate where the polyaniline compound of the positive plate is chemical oxidative polymeride of aniline compound and washing the preliminary heated chemical oxidative polymeride with organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:This is a secondary battery composed of a positive plate of polyaniline compound and a negative plate of (1) alkali metal, (2) alloy of the alkali metal, (3) conductive macromolecule, (4) complex of the alkali metal or the alloy of the alkali metal and the conductive macromolecule and (5) layer compound. The polyaniline compound of the positive plate is chemical oxidative polymeride of aniline compound and the preliminary heated chemical oxidative polymeride is washed with organic solvent. The chemical oxidative polymeride of aniline compound employed to the positive plate is obtained by processing at least a type of aniline compound selected from formulas I, II and III with chemical oxidative polymerization or chemical oxidative copolymerization. |
