PURPOSE:To inexpensively provide the subject carpet exhibiting a preferably appearance on design and having a high market value by simple processes, by mixing basic fibers with fiber small blocks, carding the mixture and subsequently subjecting the produced web to a needle-punching process to entangle the fibers with the fiber small blocks. CONSTITUTION:Basic fibers and fiber small blocks are mixed with each other and carded to form a web, which is punched with needles to be entangled, thereby providing the objective carpet. |
