PURPOSE:To facilitate the tempo change during the course of automatic play by counting the time intervals of timing signals by clocks and calculating the fresh tempo count value from the result of the clock counting and the tempo count value outputted just before. CONSTITUTION:A tempo play part 2 counts the time intervals between the timing signals inputted from a tempo input part 1 in accordance with the clocks and calculates that the result of the clock counting is M-fold the tempo count value outputted just before. Then, the tempo play part divides the result of the clock counting by multiple M to calculate the fresh tempo count value and outputs the same. A tempo control part 102 outputs the signal for updating musical tone information at every period corresponding to the tempo of the automatic play from the inputted tempo count value and clocks to a play output part 5, from which the automatic play of the tempo corresponding to the tempo input is outputted. |
