PURPOSE:To hold the continuity of an image and to suppress the increment of deterioration in picture quality by executing switching between a non-delayed TV signal and a delayed TV signal within a horizontal blanking period. CONSTITUTION:A sampled TV signal is written in time axis compressing memories 1, 1'. Television(TV) signals 1d, 1d' are read out from the memories 1, 1' by a clock signal 1c with a required frequency band. The TV signal 1d is supplied to a multiplexer 6 and the TV signal 1d' is supplied to the multiplexer 6 through a 1/2 period delay circuit 5. The multiplexer 6 switches these TV signals within the horizontal blanking period and outputs the switched signal. |
