CONSTITUTION:The title device is constituted of the specified surface C to specify a coordinate, the indicator P to indicate one point on the specified surface C and the coordinate output means to output a coordinate value on the specified surface C indicated by the indicator P. The specified surface C is constituted of a modulator M in which a PLZT plate, plural electrode pairs EP are formed in matrix state, is positioned between a pair of polarizing plates 2 and 3. And an EL plane light source 4 which is a plane-shaped light emitting part is provided below the modulator M. And an entire thickness can be thinned because the coordinate input device is constituted of only the combination of the plane light source 4 which can be thinly formed and the modulator M.</p> |
