PURPOSE:To automatically obtain optimum screen by automatically adjusting the brightness or the contrast of a reproducing screen when a stereoscopic state is detected so as to be proper by wearing glasses. CONSTITUTION:When a stereoscopic reproducing mode is detected, the stereo video detecting signal is impressed to the base of transistors Tr1, Tr2 through a buffer amplifier, so that the respective transistors Tr1, Tr2 are turned on, to ground resistances R1, R2 and lower the respective resistance values of a serial circuit consisting of a variable resistor VR1, a resistor VR1 and a serial circuit consisting of a variable resistor VR2, a variable resistor VR2. Accordingly, the picture quality of the reproducing picture is not lowered even when wearing glasses. Thereby, an automatically optimum and easily viewed screen can be obtained. |
