PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of the optical disk and to prolong the life thereof by sticking two sheets of substrates apart a spacing provided therebetween, providing recording layers to the opposite surfaces of the substrates and sealing a liquid into the spacing. CONSTITUTION:Two sheets of the transparent substrates 11, 12 are stuck to each other via spacers 13 to form the spacing 14. The recording layers 15, 16 are provided to the opposite surface of the substrates 11, 12 and a liquid silicone oil 17 is sealed into the spacing 14. Since this oil 17 has a small coefft. of expansion, the deformation by the change in the atm. pressure and temp. of the optical disk 18 is averted and the generation of the leakage of the liquid by surface tension is obviated. The oil 17 hold splashes when the recording layers 15, 16 are melted at the time of recording; in addition, the generation of an error by resticking to the recording surfaces by the flow of the oil 17 is obviated at the time of starting and stopping. Corrosion is prevented by sealing of the inert oil. The deformation of the optical disk is thereby prevented and the life thereof is prolonged. |
