<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the accurate coincidence between actual coordinate values and read coordinate values by forming a coordinate value signal generating device of a linear scale or digitizer. CONSTITUTION:This reader is equipped with a couple of longitudinal rails 5 which support a lateral rail 4 longitudinally slidably and the coordinate value signal generating device which converts the coordinate values of styli 2 and 3 for tracing a two-dimensional graphic form. The coordinate value signal generating device consists of a linear scale which is provided between a fixed scale provided to the lateral rail 4 and slides provided to the profile styli 2 and 3 and generates a coordinate value signal corresponding to the relative linear movement quantity between the both and a linear scale which is provided with a slide provided to the lateral rail 4 and a fixed scale 6 provided to a table 1 and generates a coordinate value signal corresponding to the relative linear movement quantity between the both. Further, the device may be composed of a digitizer which generates a coordinate signal between the profile styli 2 and 3 and the coordinate surface of the table 1.</p> |
