<p>PURPOSE:To quicken the response of dewing detection and to detect frosting by providing a first temperature sensor to detect the surface temperatures of drums, a second temperature sensor to detect the air temperature and a heater to operate by the temperature difference between the two sensors. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a first temperature sensor 5 to detect the surface temperatures of a rotary drum 1a and a fixed drum 1b and a second temperature sensor 7 to detect the air temperature of an electric circuit substrate. When the detected temperature of the sensor 5 is lower than that of the sensor 7 and their difference is a prescribed value or above, a microcomputer 11 judges that the drums are dewed, when the temperature of the sensor 5 is the freezing point or below, it judges that the drums are frosted, inhibits tape loading and after that, operates a heater 9. By the heating of the heater 9, the temperature of the sensor 5 becomes higher than that of the sensor 7 and when their difference becomes the prescribed value or below, the microcomputer 11 judges that the dewing is terminated, stops the heater 9 and permits the tape loading. Thus, the dewing can be rapidly detected and the frosting can be also detected.</p> |
