<p>PURPOSE:To reduce time required for scrolling by dividing text to be displayed on a terminal screen when a combination key is depressed and displaying the neighboring part of a dividing location corresponding to the combination key. CONSTITUTION:When a combination key of 0 to 9 consisting of a control key 8-1 and a ten key 8-2 is depressed, a key input means 4 inputs the code of a depressed combination key with the aid of the key input processing means of a terminal operating system. A text display means 5 n-divides the text of a user logically and inputs the plural lines of the text corresponding to an inputted code from a text file 1 by means of a text inputting means 6 with the aid of the file input processing means of the terminal operating system. Then the text is displayed by means of a screen display means 7 with the aid of the screen display processing means of the terminal operating system. As a result, a part near to a needed part of the text is displayed on the terminal screen, and the scrolling can be performed therefrom in short time.</p> |
