A rigid polyurethane foam having improved bending strength, compression stength and clear color appearance is manufd. by adding 20-30 wt.% titanium dioxide to 100 wt.% the mixt. of polyether polyol, silicone oil emulsifier, amine catalyst such as triethyl amine, tetramethyl ethylene amine, dimethyl ethanolamine, water as blowing agent, and polyphenyl isocyanate at 50-60≦̸C for 10 sec. The mixt. is poured into molding machine, foamed and cured for 15 min to give artifical wood.
