PURPOSE:To improve durability and preservation stability by forming a layer mixture composed of a redox generating material which generates a redox function and a high-polymer compd. contg. an ion carrier material. CONSTITUTION:A lead wire 2 is adhered to the one base 1a of a circular cylinder 1 consisting of a graphite carbon material by using a conductive adhesive agent 3 and thereafter, the cylinder 1 is inserted into a polyfuoroethylene tube 4 and is insulated by an insulating adhesive agent 5 to form a graphite carbon electrode. The layer 6 which contains p,p'-bisphenol polymer and ion selective component as the redox generating material and in which these components entangle with each other in the matrix to have the characteristics of both is formed by the electrolytic polymn. reaction of electrolytic oxidation conditions using the 3-electrode cell which consists of the above-mentioned carbon electrode as a working electrode, a satd. sodium chloride calomel electrode as a reference electrode and a platinum net as a counter electrode. Since exfoliation hardly arises in this layer 6, the electrode potential of the sensor is extremely stable and the durability is good as well. |
