PURPOSE:To obtain a preventing and restoring agent preventing split hair and cut hair, restoring formed split hair and making hair smooth, containing a high-molecular weight silicone and a light liquid paraffin. CONSTITUTION:One or more high-molecular weight silicones shown by the formula (R1 is methyl or phenyl: R2 is methyl or OH; n is 3,000-20,000) are properly blended with 7-20C light liquid paraffin, an oily component, humectant, ultraviolet absorber, antioxidant, resin, antiseptic, diluent, surfactant, perfume, thickening agent, dyestuff, etc., by a conventional procedure to prepare the aimed substance. The amount of the silicone is 0.1-50wt.% based on the total amounts and the amount of the paraffin is 1-100times as much as the silicone and 1-99.9wt.% based on the total amounts. The composition can be made into a form such as solubilized system, emulsified system, powder dispersed system, two layers system of oil and water or three layers system of oil-water- powder. |
