PURPOSE:To improve the durability of the photosensitive material against heat and light by incorporating a specified magnet and/or cyan coupler in the photosensitive material, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The magenta and/or the cyan coupler of the photosensitive material are composed of a compd. shown by formula I. In the formula, Z1-Z5 are each an (un)substd. methine group or a nitrogen atom, R is hydrogen atom or a blocking group, X is hydrogen atom or a releasing group, the groups Z1-Z5 are not all nitrogen atom at the same time, the total carbon numbers of substituting groups of the groups Z1-Z5 and the groups R and X is >=6, and X is not a coupler residual group capable of forming a color matter. The compd. shown by the formula is composed of a compd. shown by formula II, etc., and can be incorporated in a photosensitive emulsion layer or its adjacent layer. |
