LASER CUTTING METHOD FOR GLASS |
摘要 |
PURPOSE:To cut a glass in an optional shape and without causing any roll over on the cutting peripheral side by closely fitting a glass to the material for support having high absorption rate and m.p. for laser beam and converging the laser beam from the glass side. CONSTITUTION:A YAG laser beam 2 is transmitted by being hardly absorbed by a glass 5 and projected on the material 6 for support. The material 6 for support absorbs the laser beam 2 and its temp. rises locally. Due to its m.p. being higher than that of the glass material 5 a temp. slope is caused between the surface of the glass material 5 and the contact face with the material for support and a crack is generated by the thermal expansion difference on the glass material 5. The glass 5 can be cut in an optional shape without the need for cutting width by generating a crack continuously by relatively moving the laser beam 2 and glass 5 and yet no roll over is caused on the peripheral side of the cutting part. |
