<p>PURPOSE:To quickly move a pointer to a desired position on a display by detecting the movement of the visual point of a user and decoding the coordinates set on the display in accordance with said detecting signal for output of a coordinate information signal. CONSTITUTION:The eyes 61 of a user 6 are moved so that a pointer 31 set at the lower left corner of a display 3 to a point 32, for example. The user 6 looks at the point 32 after movement of the pointer 31. Thus a visual point detector 7 detects the movement of the visual point of the user 6 to the point 32 and transmits a signal to a visual point coordinate signal generator 8. The generator 8 decodes the coordinates set on the display 3 at the point 32 and sends the coordinate information signal to a computer 2. Thus the computer 2 moves instantly the pointer 31 to the point 32. As a result, the user 6 can instantly attain his/her purpose just by detecting a desired position on the display 3 for the pointer 31.</p> |
