<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently perform foam separation by providing a suction nozzle so that liquid is swirled in the suction pipeline of a pump and providing a foam separation pipe opened oppositely to the flow in the midway part of the suction pipeline. CONSTITUTION:Air is sucked to the bottom part of an air-permeable agitation tank 5 through the nozzles 8 of a diffusion pipe 7 and liquid to be treated is agitated with an agitator 9. A suction pipeline 2 is fitted to the side face of the agitation tank 5 in order to suck the treated liquid wherein gas-liquid contact treatment has been executed with a pump. A suction nozzle 1 in which a suction port 6 is directed to the side and eccentrically arranged so that the treated liquid sucked therethrough is swirled in the suction pipeline 2 is provided to the tip of the suction pipeline 2. Foams assembled to the center part of the pipeline by this swirly flow are discharged through a foam separation pipe 3 having an aperture oppositely to the flow of the center part of the pipeline 2.</p> |
