PURPOSE:To make it possible to mount the cutting bite for rotary also to a rotary tool post by making the rotary processing bite mountable through angular positioning at the rotary tool post where a rotary tool unit is mounted, and attempting to prevent the rotation by lock gears. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary processing bite 50 is inserted, a pusher releases the pressure applied on a lock rod 40, a center pipe axis 36 is shifted as a nut 37 is moved backward by a belleville spring 39, a ball 43 falls off a notch 41 and falls into a retaining hole 53 and locked, keys 67, 69 angularly position the rotary processing bite 50, and a driving gear interlocks with a lock gear and gears 70, 31 are also locked. When a rotary tool unit 100 is mounted, the protrusion 72 of an unit driving axis 4 is pushed, the gears 70 and 31 are disengaged from each other, and the driving axis 4 can rotate the rotary cutter through the protrusion 72. Also, a detecting axis 80 is pushed and moves an interlocked axis 84 and turns on the rotation of an input shaft, and when a turret body 1 is indexed at the specified angular position, a lock gear is shifted by a cylinder device and unlocks the drive gear which, then, rotates its coupled gear 70 as well as the rotary cutter. |
