PURPOSE:To enable a rolling unit of high quality, used in a bearing, and a constitutional member, well familiarized with this rolling unit, to be simultaneously manufactured by using a member, constituting the bearing with a workpiece, for at least one part of the parts for a driving lamp, guide ring internal wall and a float to come into contact with the workpiece. CONSTITUTION:A spherical workpiece 3 is used serving as the rolling unit of a bearing, while holding the workpiece 3 in abrasive grain-contained magnetic fluid 7 by a driving lap 1, internal wall surface of a guide ring 4 and a flat 5 receiving levitating force by a magnetic field formed in the magnetic fluid 7 by a magnet 6, the workpiece 3 is polished into high sphericity by rotating the driving lap 1. Here the bearing polishes its inner ring member 8a mounted to the bottom end part of the driving lap 1 brought into contact with the workpiece 3, outer ring member 9a mounted to a part containing a contact surface with the workpiece 3 in the internal wall surface of the guide ring 4 and even the inner ring member 8b mounted to the flat 5 simultaneously being well familiarized with the workpiece (rolling unit) 3. |
