The circuit is for controlling the combustion state for compensating the cooking process during the power failure. The circuit comprises a timer (6) operated during the power failure for a setting time, a first discriminator discriminating the output existance of the timer, a second discriminator discriminating the main switch state, a third discriminator discriminating the combination of the first and the second discriminators. The cooking process after power failure is maintained by the output of the third discriminator.
