摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent absolute positional accuracy by storing in advance a correction amount for removing the error of true roundness of a slit plate of a rotary encoder, and a correction amount for removing the error of a slit pitch of the plate. CONSTITUTION:A command position signal is applied to an accurate absolute position measuring device 18 from a computer 17 through a driver 12, and the measurement signal of a measuring unit 18 in this case is used as a reference signal. Then, the device 18 is replaced with a motor 10 and an encoder 11, the same command signal when the reference signal is obtained is applied, and the detection signal of the encoder 11 is measured. This measurement signal is compared with the reference signal, a correction amount obtained from a secondary erroneous correction curve is written in a memory 132, and a correction value obtained form a high order error correction curve is written in a memory 133. The correction amounts of the memories 132, 133 are read at the time of controlling the position to correct the output of the encoder 11.
