PURPOSE:To improve reliability and to reduce labor by calculating the upper and lower limits of alarm setting values on the basis of output of a pressure detector and that of a temperature detector. CONSTITUTION:A pressure alarm device in a hydrogen cooling type generator 1 has a pressure detector 2 for monitoring pressure and a temperature detector 3 for monitoring temperature in the generator 1, a calculator 4 for calculating an alarm set value from the pressure and the temperature in the generator is connected thereto, this output and the detection pressure are connected to a malfunction discriminator 5, and an alarm indicator 6 is connected to the output of the discriminator 5. Theoretical gas pressure is calculated by the calculator 4 from the detected temperature T in the generator, and high or low with respect to the set value is calculated by considering a predetermined variation. Thus, when a rotary electric machine is, for example, stopped, the pressure in the generator is reduced, and the temperature in the generator is also reduced proportionally thereto, and the set value is set on the basis of them. Thus, an unnecessary alarm is not generated. |
