PURPOSE:To improve the conveying property of the title plate in a plate making device, and the workability of the printing plate on a printing machine, respectively by constituting a back layer of plural layers, and by incorporating a gelatin and a water-insoluble colloidal fine particle in an amount of more than 1 time by wt. per the amount of the gelatin in the outer-most layer of the back layer. CONSTITUTION:The back layer of the printing plate mounted on the rear of a supporting body is constituted of the plural layers, and the outer-most layer of the back layer contains the gelatin and the water-insoluble colloidal fine particle in the amount of more than 1 time by wt. per the amount of the gelatin. Accordingly, the outer-most layer acts so as to give a negative curl to the printing plate by drying and shrinking the plate after being processed the plate with a developing solution having a high alkality. The shrinking property of the plate increases as the compounding ratio of the colloidal fine particle to the gelatin increases. And, the shrinkage of the plate increases as the drying temp. of the plate after development processings increases, and the drying time of the plate becomes longer. Thus, the conveying property of the plate in the plate making device is improved, and the workability of the printing plate on the printing machine is improved. |
