PURPOSE:To improve a developed color image, by providing a microcapsule layer containing an electron donating color former, a ligand compound having a phenolic OH group and a desensitizing substance having a b.p. of 300 deg.C or higher on a support and applying an iron (III) compound thereto. CONSTITUTION:A microcapsule layer containing three layers of an electron donating color former, a ligand compound having a phenolic OH group and/or thiophenolic SH group and a desensitizing substance having a b.p. of 300 deg.C or higher is provided on a support and an iron (III) compound coating layer is further provided thereon to form a pressure-sensitive recording sheet. As the electron donating color former, 3,3-bis(p-dimethylaminophenol)-6- dimethylaminophthalide is designated and, as the ligand compound, there are salicylic acid, myristyl gallate, cetyl gallate, stearyl gallate or the like. |
