A suspended ceiling comprises a plurality of arched panels 10 having edges 11 each extending into and supported by one of a plurality of gutters so that the edges are spaced both from each other and from the sides and bottoms of the gutters, the gutters being slightly inclined for removing condensation liquid from the gutters, for example via a cross gutter 14 and a drainpipe 16. An extractor fan 20 may be arranged above the ceiling. The invention is applicable to a kitchen, slaughterhouse, laundry, wash house &c. (For Figure see next column)
