The electric cooker is able to select the state of cooking rice by selecting one of the three switches (SW1, SW2, SW3). A comparator (10) compares the present temperature increased by a cooking heater (7) operated by a relay (5) receiving signals from TR1, and the predetermined temperature set by a cooking mode selection circuit (2) , and gives a signal to empoly a conservating heater (6) instead of the cooking heater (7). The output of a NAND gate in 3-flip-flop circuit (3) instegates the timer (14) to drive a buzzer after completion of the cooking.
