PURPOSE:To make it possible to convert the viscosity of heavy oil whose quality is not fixed into a value proper to atomization and maintain said proper value, by obtaining from heavy oil at ambient temperature the temperature of heavy oil which makes it possible to turn the viscosity of said heavy oil into a proper viscosity at which heavy oil can be atomized from a burner, and entering this temperature into a computing element as a preset value. CONSTITUTION:A computing element 12 automatically obtains an oil temperature set value based on fix which indicates the temperature of heavy oil having a proper viscosity which enables atomization from the viscosity of heavy oil at ambient temperature and outputs the oil temperature setting value to a subtractor 13 where the subtractor 13 takes deviation between the aforesaid oil temperature setting value and a detection signal transmitted from a temperature detector 5. On the basis of this deviation signal, a control device 14 controls the opening of an auxiliary steam flow rate control valve 7 so that the temperature of heavy oil at the outlet of a heavy oil heater 4 (i.e. the inlet of a burner 2) may be identical to the set value changed from the temperature of the heavy oil. In this manner, the oil temperature set value having proper viscosity at which heavy oil can be atomized from the burner 2, can be automatically obtained from the viscosity of heavy oil at ambient temperature. |
