PURPOSE:To lower the ground clearance of a car body, especially the height of a bonnet by arranging the connective position of the lower end of a suspension damper to a member which connects the damper to a wheel, in such a way to be alienated back or forth from a drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:The upper end of the suspension damper 8 of a suspension device 2 is connected to a suspension tower 4 below a bonnet 1a and the lower end is connected to a wheel 11 through a knuckle 10. In this case, the wheel 11 is connected to one end of a drive shaft 16 whose the other end is connected to a driving source 15 arranged on the car body side. The suspension damper 8 is connected to the knuckle 10 in such a way as to be a predetermined distance l3 apart from the drive shaft 16 in the longitudinal direction and overlapped thereto in the vertical direction. With this arrangement, the lower end of the damper 8, namely the height l1 between the wheel 11 and the tower 4 is lowered by a defined distance l2. |
