For the manufacturing process, cut timber is dried, mechanically processed to workpieces (1), which are formed into a parcel and compressed, after adhesive has been applied. - The workpiece surfaces to be glued together have longitudinal cutouts, the depth of which is not smaller than the thickness of an annual ring of early timber.
