<p>PURPOSE:To produce the color filter which has high dimensional accuracy of picture elements and decreases unequal image planes, etc., by transferring the colored ink on a printing plate formed to picture element pattern shapes directly onto a substrate and curing the film surface of the colored ink by polymn., then smoothing the surface by pressing. CONSTITUTION:The filter pattern is formed on the glass substrate 1 by a printing machine attached with the flat planographic printing plate having the prescribed color filter pattern and by using the colored ink of a thermosetting type. The part in contact with the substrate 1 and the surface of the ink film 2 are subjected to a hardening treatment to form a thin film 2'' while the flowability as ink is maintained in the ink film 2 by using a drying machine and, thereafter, pressing is executed via a release stock 3. Since the spread 2' of the ink is suppressed by the thin film 2'', the deviation of picture element shapes 5 is minimized. The entire part of the ink film is thereafter polymerized and cured by heating. The color filter having the good picture element shapes and the smooth ink film surface is obtd. by repeating the above-mentioned stage a prescribed number of times.</p> |
