PURPOSE:To uniformize the dispersion of the magnetic powder and fine magnetic powder of a magnetic carrier so that both the powders are sufficiently mixed and adhered and the adhesion of the carrier to a non-image part and the splashing of the carrier are prevented by fixing or embedding the fine magnetic powder onto or into the surfaces of the magnetic particles dispersed with the fine magnetic powder in a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The fine magnetic powder is fixed or embedded onto or into the surfaces of the magnetic particles dispersed with the fine magnetic powder in the binder resin to uniformize the dispersion of the magnetic powder and fine magnetic powder of the magnetic carrier. The fine magnetic powder is dispersed into the binder resin to prepare the magnetic particles. Said magnetic powder and the fine magnetic powder are mixed to impart compressive force and friction force or impact force between both, by which the fine magnetic powder is fixed or embedded onto or into the surfaces of the magnetic particles and the dispersion of the magnetic powder and the fine magnetic powder is uniformized. The adhesion of the carrier to the non- image part and the splashing of the carrier are prevented. This carrier is combined with a toner to prepare a two-component developer. The sufficient development density is thus maintained. |
