PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of overlapping by changing one of electrostatic charge potential of a photosensitive body surface, exposure amount, or bias potential, responding to the continuous working amount of the electrophotographic copying device. CONSTITUTION:The adhering amount of toner to the surface of a photosensitive drum 9 is fixed by the electrostatic charge potential of the surface of the photo sensitive drum 9 by a charger 11 for electrostatic charge, the exposure output by an optical construction 8, the width of a slit for passing of the beam provided in the optical path, and developing bias voltage impressed on a developing roller (the potential different in the electrostatic charge potential between the developing roller and the photosensitive drum 9). Because of this, by changing one of them by a CPU in response to the change in the charge amount of toner, the amount of toner to be adhered to the surface of the photosensitive body is controlled to be always the same. Thus overlapping of toner resulting from the change in the amount of electrostatic charg6e can be prevented in the formed electrophotography. |
