PURPOSE:To reduce the number of wirings disposed between a card reader/ writer main body and a carriage by loading a linear motor driving control circuit on a carriage side. CONSTITUTION:The driving circuit 7 for selectively exciting a coil 5 is mounted on the carriage 2 side. In the driving circuit 7, a flexible cable having a signal line 9 for inputting a normal and reverse control signal to the driving circuit 7 which is connected to a limit switch or the like disposed in a card inserting port and a reading/writing position from the card reader/writer main body is provided. This flexible cable has a feeder line 10 for supplying a reference voltage Vcc to the driving circuit 7 and respective hole elements 6 and a ground line 11 for grounding the driving circuit 7 and a hole element 9. Thereby, the number of the wirings between the main body and the carriage 2 can be reduced. |
