<p>PURPOSE:To secure the safety in steering in transmission by returning the steering to a neutral position on the basis of the output signal of a steering angle sensor in parking stop when each absolute valve of the output signals supplied from a torsional torque sensor and car speed sensor is less than each prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:In the constitution in which an electric motor 1 for power assistance is controlled by a drive control part 2, an assistance instruction part 3, return instruction part 4, phase compensation instruction part 5, steering angle phase compensation instruction part 6, and a neutral position instruction part 7 are installed as the devices for outputting an instruction signal into the drive control part 2. In the neutral position instruction part 7, if a car speed judging part 71 judges that the car speed is zero, and a torsional torque judging part 72 judges that the torsional torque is nearly zero, and a vehicle is in the parking stop state, the electric motor 1 is driven on the basis of the output signal of a steering angle sensor 41 by the min. restoration signal selected in a comparison part 71, and steering is automatically returned to a neutral position.</p> |
