The phase shifter for providing 90 degree shifted output against the input frequency varied widely comprises a phase comparator (10) providing error voltage corresponding to the phase difference, a first wave filter (20) providing pulse at a moment of transition from low to high, a second wave filter (30) filtering the output of the first filter, an inverter (40), a third wave filter (50), an OR circuit (60) summing up the outputs of the second and third wave filters, a XOR circuit (70) exclusive-summing up the outputs of the first wave filter and OR circuit, a low pass filter (80) removing the noise, and voltage variable pulse generator (90) providing pulses proportional to the output of the low pass filter.
