PURPOSE:To obtain molding material of phenolic resin capable of producing molded product having excellent resistance to water and insulation resistance in a low cost, by mixing a phenolic resin for molding, curing agent, modifying agent and wood flour and pitch as extenders, heating, blending and pulverizing. CONSTITUTION:A molding material of phenolic resin containing (A) phenolic resin for molding, (B) curing agent, (C) modifying agent and (D) D1: wood flour and D2: 10-50%, preferably 10-30% pitch having 10-200 deg.C, preferably 120-150 deg.C softening point (preferably coal based pitch). The material is produced by a method that B and C are mixed to A and then D1 and pulverized D2 are mixed, or D1 impregnated with D2 are mixed to said mixture of A, B and C, then heated, blended, cooled and pulverized, or a method that D2 is added to A and the mixture is heated, mixed, cooled, pulverized and B and C are mixed, then further D1 is mixed. |
