The present invention relates to a luminaire radiator having an approximately box-shaped housing body (11) with a reflector (12) fitted on the end face, which is characterised in that the lamp holder is firmly connected to the housing body, while the reflector can be displaced in the direction of its axis against the housing body so that the light distribution of the leaving light is adjustable. Guide bows (14) are provided which are fitted laterally on the reflector (12) and which, during the axial displacing movement of the reflector, surround the guide bars (13) which are fitted on the housing body (11) and are guided on these guide bars. Depending on the form of the reflector, the luminaire radiator according to the invention can be used to produce converging or diverging light or to focus the light of the emitting light cone by displacing the reflector at a varying distance from the reflector. <IMAGE>
