<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a comfortable bed simplifying the dressing-up of a sick person, hard to generate a bedsore and imparting no fatigue, by mounting a lock mechanism for fixing a movable plate to a bottom plate and an air bag mechanism and dividing the movable part into three sections in the long and short side directions thereof to form a freely upwardly titlable backrest part and a freely bendable footrest part by hinges. CONSTITUTION:When a sick person is provided with clothes, the solenoid mechanism 17 of the lock mechanisms 4', 4''' of the first divided part 9 and the first back divided part 12 is operated to release the hooking of a hooking projection 19 from a lock rod 16 and air is fed to the air bags 24, 24' between a backrest part 7 and a bottom plate 2. The third back divided part 4'' and the third divided part 11 of a footrest part 8 are not raised by the pressure feed of air because of the actions of lock mechanisms 4, 4'' but the backrest part 7 and the footrest part 8 are gradually raised to other positions to bring a human body to a lying state. The auxiliary air bag 26 of the footrest part 8 is filled with air in order to raise a foot. The feed and discharge of air to the lock mechanisms 4, 4', 4'', 4''' of various places and the air bags 24, 24' is automatically repeated to impart motion like turning over in bed.</p> |
