<p>PURPOSE:To continuously execute processes for dissolution of nuclear substance in a sheared piece, and cleaning and discharge of a hull by providing a turning driving source for bringing a basket to turning movement in a liquid storage tank, a rolling member for rolling the basket by 90 degrees and an inverting member for inverting it by 180 degrees. CONSTITUTION:In a basket 7, a sheared piece is loaded from a loading chute pipe 5 in a position (a) of a dissolving part 22. Subsequently, said basket 7 is brought to turning movement in the direction of the arrow F, a dissolved liquid 20 is immersed from a hole provided on the side face of the basket 7, a nuclear substance contained in the sheared piece is dissolved gradually, and only an undissolved hull remains in the basket 7. Next, the basket hits against a roll shaft 19 and rolls, and in a state that it has been rolled by 90 degrees, the basket 7 is taken out entirely from the dissolved liquid 20 and brought to turning movement until it passes through a weir 25. The basket 7 which has passed through the weir 25 returns to a vertical state, and is cleaned in a hull cleaning part 23. Next, the basket is inverted by a basket inverting shaft 18 provided on a weir 26, and inverted by 180 degrees by the inverting shaft 18 of two upper and lower stages. In this process, the hull in the basket 7 is discharged from a sheared piece loading port.</p> |
