IMAGE-FORMING SYSTEM IN TRANSMISSION PATH OF IMAGE FIBER

PURPOSE:To make the quantity of light uniform and to transmit the image of an object to be picked up faithfully in a transmission path consisting of plural pieces of image fibers by masking the regions of the end faces of the fibers corresponding to the overlapped parts of the split images from the adjacent fibers. CONSTITUTION:A mask pate 12 is provided in contact with the ene face on the image pickup side A or image receiving side B of a transmission path 8 consisting of the array of image fibers 1. Transparent parts 10 and light shielding parts 11 for masking the overlapped parts of the split images from the adjacent fibers 1 in correspondence to the array of the fibers 1 are disposed to the mask 12. The quantity of the light of a synthesized image 5 is thus made uniform and the image of an object 4 is transmitted faithfully.
